There are a lot of different blogs that are very similar in terms of the information they share, but we always ended up going back to “One Mile at a Time” since it has been pretty consistent in terms of both quality and quantity of information
The main thing we use this for:
Staying up to date with deals on points.
→ The blog also has some great articles covering points programs, sweet spots, award charts, etc. But this is secondary to the deals updates.
This blog does feel more US-Centric, with many deals (especially credit card transfer bonuses and credit card deals) being US targeted.
ℹ️ Staying up to date with relevant deals
One Mile at a Time is the blog we keep coming back to on a weekly basis to check for updates incase we missed anything in our emails.
It’s a great blog to get a good overview of deals across global airlines and points programs, especially the bigger ones most people want to fly.
Another great thing about the “deals” pages covering specific programs (Qatar Avios, Avianca Lifemiles, KLM Flying Blue, etc) is that past deals are also visible - so you can always get a good idea of how frequently a deal may come around, as well as comparing the value of deals.
You will find specific links to “deal pages” inside the Points Program Deep Dives.
➡️ You can also find other valuable articles
The blog also has some great articles covering points programs, sweet spots, award charts, etc. But this is secondary to the deals updates.
⚠️ This blog can at times feel a bit busy if you’re stricly looking for airline deals. It covers many deals for Hotel Programs and Credit Cards as well, so you need to dig a bit to find the best airline stuff.
⚠️ This blog definitely leans more towards US users, with many deals and articles (especially credit card transfer bonuses and credit card deals) being entirely US targeted.
