✍️ Avianca Lifemiles is admittedly incredibly annoying for both searching & booking due to an annoying website, but their points are on sale VERY frequently allowing for some great redemptions. Lifemiles uses Dynamic Award Pricing, meaning there isn’t one clear region/distance based chart, but instead prices depend on route/carrier etc. It can feel like a bit of a lottery, and at times you can score some amazing redemptions. Especially ANA and Turkish Airlines Business, or Lufthansa and ANA First Class!
Searching Tip: The Lifemiles website is bad for searching, so to narrow your search, use Seats.Aero to get an idea of available flights on Star Alliance partners. Use the “Explore” feature and check United Mileage Plus and Aeroplan. Then cross reference for availability on Lifemiles.
